aww hell nah

AMD always over-complicates the naming convention.
I thought they were going to come full circle with 9000 series. My first performance GPU was a Radeon 9800 Pro.
It had 8 pixel pipe lines and 1 whole texture mapping unit!!!!
I think it was $400.

i get that they have to go away from HD XXXX eventually, and they dont want to just change it to something similar such as XD 2950 to avoid confusion. but damn this is going to make explaining shite hard for awhile.

Sounds like they're paving the way to clutter the market with more of "in-between" cards that are crippled versions of other ones.

That's OK.
With everything that they sent and with stuff I already have there is enough shite here at my house, minus a graphics card, 2 cases, and 1 HDD, to build 4 complete gaming PCs and I would still have some shite left over.
ETA: Ordering cases tonight so I can put a few together to sell.

Buy my case (fractal core 3000)/mobo (asus m4a88t-evo)/psu (corsair cx430m) combo! I'll throw in like 4 fans.
Like $80 shipped for it all... I just want it all gone. Plus I can basically ship you my whole system

It will cost you $40 to ship all of that.
Posted on 9/12/13 at 7:32 pm to stout
Its a smaller/lighter case so it'd Probably be $20-30

actually, stout, I do have 2 x 2GB sticks of some OEM 1333 DDR3 if you're going sell any low-end builds.
