We need to get everybody to use this program mumble. I don't know if it applies to BF3 but it has 3D positional audio chat integrated with some games. LINK
Also, The BF3 Premium game comes with the BF4 beta access.
ETA: Apparently, the 3D positional audio does work on BF3. LINK

My DL speed must suck. These 2 MB/sec downloads on Steam and Origin take forever to finish. I wish Google fiber would come down here.

Origin is way slower than steam. You will never have BF3 ready to play tonight. Let it run over night while you sleep.

I downloaded it in about 45 minutes. Now I need to learn how to do shite in it. It absolutely pisses me off that I have to launch a browser to choose servers or even play the game campaign, but oh well.

I don't know. I think it may be just the game unless "Limited Edition" means game + DLC.

Limited Edition is the base game and Back to Karkand DLC. Premium is that plus the rest of the DLC.

I redeemed a code for Premium as well. I guess I'll have to download the rest of the DLC once the game finishes.

The premium takes a while to download. I thought steam was slow btw until I found out it measures in megabytes per second as opposed to megabits like your ISP advertises.
