Holy moly these clocks are insane. I can't wait to get my hands on one and have some OC fun. Apparently they can go up to 2.8.

Haha, 7nm does well here. Lower TDP than 3080/3090 even at 2.5GHz clocks. #FoundryAdvantage

Who would have thought 4 years ago the top gaming rig would be an all AMD one? Crazy shite.

3 more days!

any of you guys use Distill web plugin to monitor changes to sites? got it set up to read EVGA's 3080 changes and Best Buys's 3080 changes. checks it every 30 seconds.

here's GN's 3070 benchmarks and reviews. from what i watched, the 2080ti is still superior in terms of frames. it sat between the 2080 super and 2080ti.

Well TDP is an envelope, each company have different definitions, it will probably boost until thermals, etc.

But still insane boost.

Definitely sat with the 2080ti and well ahead of the 2080S. It sat ahead of GN's overclocked 2080S too

if EVGA's B-stock of the 2080ti drops below $500, it might be worth going that route instead of a 3070 because we all know the 3070 will be sold out in a matter of seconds come friday morning.

I'm of the belief of staying on the latest gen, if it makes sense, because of drivers and new tech.

AMD officially buys FPGA chip maker Xilinx for 35 billion total. AMD about to go hard in the data center space.

That's where AMD really needs to make a dent. Intel has owned that space for so long now.

Yeah, they've made great progress and this should really put the heat on going forward. 14nm Intel is still brutal for Intel in this market too rn.

If you add our 2020 model to what happened in 2019 and then play around with the numbers to end up with around a 20 percent compound annual growth rate for the whole business and more than a 30 percent market share in 2023 for the datacenter CPU and GPU business.

Less than 2% market share in 2015 to 30% by 2023. Currently at about 15%.

Yeha I think they just about doubled year over year last year from 7% up to that 15% as Intel loses ground still stuck on 14nm Xeon.
