Yea I got one of those BGE knock offs for my bday from my wife.

Really enjoying it so far. I've done chicken legs a few times, pork butt, and did some wagyu beef ribs Sunday.

Too many hobbies is right . About to drop probably $1200 on getting cards PSA graded soon

Usually the FTW cards are higher clocked out of the gate and usually have better coolers

More performance comparisons coming out, looking more and more like AMD weren't full of shite saying 15+% IPC gains.

quote:

In performance comparisons, the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X completely obliterates the Intel Core i9-10900K, delivering insane amounts of up to 15% single-threaded performance jump over the competing chip within Cinebench R20. The same goes for gaming performance where the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X delivers up to 21% performance gains over the Core i9-10900K.

quote:

Compared to Intel's flagship Core i9-10900K CPU, the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X offers a 15-20% single-core performance bump and around a 15% performance bump in multi-threaded tests.

had a 5% off code and did a rough breakdown of what I can sell everything for. being VERY aggressive with pricing, I'm basically getting a $850 3080 Ventus.

Once my Strix comes in (also $850), I can just flip the Ventus on ebay for $1400 and be good to go

that's correct, prices are about what I had them pegged at (had 1 higher, 2 lower).

only changes I made to that build were Thermaltake 750W over the "standard" PSU and a WD Blue 512 SSD w/ Seagate 2TB HDD.

Will also have a 2070 Super for sale

I have uPlay+ for this month, I'll likely beat Watch Dogs Legion and AC: Valhalla. We'll see how long they take and how above average they are.
