if i had to guess, Cypberpunk would come free with some of those 30 series cards.

Prices on the CPU and mobo could also peak my interest

that's correct, prices are about what I had them pegged at (had 1 higher, 2 lower).
only changes I made to that build were Thermaltake 750W over the "standard" PSU and a WD Blue 512 SSD w/ Seagate 2TB HDD.
Will also have a 2070 Super for sale

You got a review for a Ryzen 5 2400g? Local guy has one for $100.

I have uPlay+ for this month, I'll likely beat Watch Dogs Legion and AC: Valhalla. We'll see how long they take and how above average they are.

Will that go into any 450 MOBO?
I have a spare PC laying around that has a 8 year CPU/MOBO in it and I might put the 5700xt in it if I can find the right mobo/cpu/ram at a good price.
Gigabyte B450M DS3H (AMD Ryzen AM4/Micro ATX/M.2/HMDI/DVI/USB 3.1/DDR4/Motherboard) LINK

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3070 16GB canceled
quote:
Technically GeForce RTX 3080 20GB and RTX 3070 16GB could launch at a later time, but the information that we have clearly stated that those SKUs have been canceled, not postponed. NVIDIA has already canceled its RTX 3070 Ti model (PG141 SKU 0), so the RTX 3070 16GB (PG141 SKU5) and RTX 3080 20GB (PG132 SKU20) will be joining the list.

This is looking really spicy for the Big Navi release.
The card they showed benchmarks for at AMD Zen 3 release which matched the 3080 was apparently the 6800XT, not 6900XT. So they could have a RTX3090 competitor.
6900XT = 80 CU, 2.04ghz game clock, 2.33ghz boost, 16GB, 256-bit, 16Gbps
6800XT = 72 CU, 2.02ghz game clock, 2.25ghz boost, 16GB, 256-bit, 16Gbps
6800 = 64 CU, 1.82ghz game clock, 2.11ghz boost, 16GB, 256-bit, 16Gbps
6700XT = 40 CU, 12GB, 192-bit
Also some early talk of the cards overclocking extremely well. A Navi 21 AIB card will feature a boost clock of 2.577ghz.

Yeah Big Navi is looking insane. Super excited.
Rumor as to why Nvidia canceled the 20GB and 16GB variant as well as the Ti is because they want to move on from 30xx series as fast as possible.
Rumor is they've put in a 7nm order at TSMC for next summer to quickly launch the 40xx series in July.
I think they know the 30 series isn't going to have stock/yields nor the performance they wanted and are cutting ties as fast as possible.

I just dropped $1300 on Pokemon cards anyway, so now I'll have a little more time to make my money back to buy big navi

I just hope it delivers. Big for AMD's future and competition in the space.

Also just a reminder uPlay+ is $14.99 for a month if you're at all interested in Watch Dogs Legion and/or AC: Valhalla.
Worth it if you are.

Gets you even more excited about Big Navi.
6800XT expected to cost under the 3080 and "closer to 3070". That would be under $599, pretty much too good to be true there if it truly performs right at or under a 3080.
After how AMD priced zen 3, I dont see them being as "value" oriented any more in the GPU space if their cards are matching - and exceeding Nvidias in some cases.
The 5700XT was a swift kick in the nuts to the 2070 though.

That's nuts. I know passmark isn't the greatest benchmark, but it still tiers fairly well.
Is the 5600x supposed to be around $200 too?

$299 for 5600x, rumors are a 5600 will come in Q1 next year for $229 though
