I've used third party services for Windows keys.. for years. At less since 2015ish. Whatever the year after they quit doing free W7 to W10 upgrades and that famous cracker stopped working.

If your system gives you odd errors, random restarts, etc even after a fresh windows install, memory checked, Mobo bios and you vbios flash it could be your power supply. Even if you test and everything comes back fine. Still could be the power supply.
