Shtt you watch some of those YouTubers?

They would.

Or read Reddit posts?

I can't handle it sometimes.

A small mix of both. Not much reddit, cesspool.

But the point still stands, when compared in 2019 AMD takes that award.

Y? You keep saying this but y?

They both do the same things? And Nvidia is quicker to use and have options listed on one page.

But again, you don't even need to do that if you save over config files from each driver install. No need to use any of them.

Reddit is hard to follow at times. Makes my head hurt.

I found Blue's homesever post on r/homelabs randomly at 4am. Was like huh, I've seen this picture before. Look at user name, "redstick" and come here to search for pic. It's weird you find user posts cross platform.

But forums are really dieing. It sucks.

Things like discord I love but it's hard to have free flowing discussion and exchange of ideas about a hobby.

RIP OCN and HardForums

Chat rooms and forums were fun in the day.

I actually know a couple posters on here from a college sports chat room many years ago.

The couple of YouTubers I watch anymore are fishing channels.

I watch no PC YouTubers on the regular outside of ones that do news update like L1Techs and PCPer. Only PC channels I really watch are EE and CS channels because of my SBC obsession.

Walleye are what I fish the most for, I live by one of the best (and only?) lakes for them not in the north.

Absolutely delicious.

Oh really?

How they hit? Hard right? But kind of lay down with dead weight after?

Before I got back into gaming, fishing is all I did from about 16 to 22. Sold my boat at 26. I would fish 4 times a week when gas was $4.00/gal. Boat cost 120 to fill and about 60 for my truck roundtrip from the gulf.

Love it, but just fished it all here in SE LA. Got bored with it like hunting. Onto the next hobby.

Let me try and find a pic of me and my boat from mid 2000s.

Yeah they are very aggressive, best in the summer deep in 30+ ft up near the dam. Part of the reason I am buying my first fishing boat soon. They are in the pike family, originally from Canada.

I forget the story on how they made it down into a central/sw Missouri lake and not only survived but thrived and they won't anywhere else that isn't northern. It's pretty special to fish though.

Can't find a pic and I know it's there.

Sometimes I want to take my whole fckking NAS and uploaded to Google.

If in Google Photos I could have just typed "boat" and it would bring it up.

Would be nice if FreeNAS could get some type of Google Assistant function.

All good.

I like the Ozarks, many options. Multiple world class trout streams all around me and some great bass lakes as well as walleye and crappie. I go into Kansas to a crappie lake twice a year for a couple night camp and bring home 50+ black crappie to eat.

Short drive into NW Ark for more great trout fishing and white bass and stripers.

Only could find this goofy one of me holding a red back in I think 2008.

Looking for some good pics of the boat when I sold it on Craig's list back in 2013. Was a Flats Fox by SeaFox. Only drafted 7" inches and had a semi-v to cut in bays. It was like one of the first ones in this area in the late 2000s. Came from Florida. Ppl just started fishing the marshes here with the proper boats.

I was proud of that thing.

However, it is funny the things you do find searching your server/NAS for pics. Stout is too good for us now. Living the life of a playboy.

Nice, I've only ever fished fresh water but only been to the ocean and gulf a couple of times.

Planning on getting the 2020 Classic in the spring, nothing fancy but more than enough for me.

Yeah I live in the marsh basically. Bass fishing is oddly really good here. The Masters fish the same waters I grew up.

That's a nice rig for it's use case. All you need.

Fishing was my first addiction to a hobby. It's awesome to be on the water and you can still geek out with the tech, gear, hardware and techniques.

You know what PC YouTuber I used to hate but he changed?

Linus

I love seeing the new projects they do.

I will get it, but it's not a fun game.

It's good, masterpiece. Just not fun.

I'm glad I waited for PC version, didn't even read much or anything on it to try and preserve the experience so hopefully it's good.

Looks incredible that is for sure.

Going to microcenter tomorrow after work and grabbing a 5700 XT Red Devil. I check Fry's they don't have them.

Yes, this is an "I have a microcenter and 4 Fry's within an hour of me" brag.
