Without a doubt. Also, I like the driver experience (no pun intended) that you get from Nvidia. I still have a bad taste in my mouth from when I was on AMD. The premium you pay for with Nvidia is worth it when you factor in the software suite that come wrapped in Nvidia Experience.

Plus, the 2070 Super seems like a lot of GPU for $500.

How long ago was that because almost everyone considers AMD to have the much better software suite ever since Crimson and now Adrenalin.

Who are these ppl?

Who uses that anyway?

The settings that need changing I do in config files.

Drivers have nothing to do with that gui. I don't think he talked about GeForce whatever it's called. I don't even download it. Haven't for maybe 3-4yrs.

Edt: It's irrelevant imo. What I'm trying to say. Not that one is better than the other.

He simply talked about drivers. Not their user experience/tools.

I've always used both.

AMDs one looks cool, but they both do nothing for me.

Huh? He specifically says software suite which is the same thing I said.

Driver wise is definitely AMD. Whole different argument.

Let's all calm it down.

I haven't used Adrenaline, but I did use Crimson. I like the options that GeForce Experience(not Nvidia Experience, as previous stated) a lot more than anything I had with AMD. AMD seemed to tag on a lot of 3rd party software, like overwolf, which just seemed lazy compared to what Nvidia was doing.

Anyways, is there a physical difference between the 3700x and the 3800x, or is it just clock speed and marketing? Either way, it's going to get it overclocked until it's balls fall off.

ETA: Nevermind, no difference.

Nah not anything 3rd party. ReLive, Radeon Chill and RIS is why it wins the head to heads. RIS especially smashes Nvidia's offering.

But I like my money too much to ever justify $100 for 3 FPS average. That makes me quiver.

I'm glad I was at least able to throw up the hog signal and get you in here. Looks like I'm going to go 3700x for my CPU.

Have you been able to run freesync and VSR yet with your 5700xt?

I've never used VSR. Does yours not work? You are trying to run 4K via VSR with freesync on? From 1080p or 1440p?

I think DSR/VSR is just for games. Not sure though never used it.

I'll try it tonight and report back.
