Yeah, the only things in my house that are on wifi are two laptops, 2 phones and an iPad. My Chromecast Ultras are even hardwired.

I have 2 chromecasts, a laptop, 2 phones, an iPad, 2 Google homes, a Nest, 2 tv's and I think that's it.
Current router still doesn't really reach my pool area very well.

I have a little more when you count all the raspis hooked up. Around 14 devices and 2 users. Never struggle with signal and speed. All on an old asus ac router.
Think you are fine.

I don't struggle with speed any either, moreso range. Not reaching my pool area is a killer. Or the signal being so weak it crawls.
A tad disappointed in the Nighthawk X6, but if you read reviews on their wifi 6 router they are not good.

Have you tried a range extender?

Replacing won't help.
Get a second. I have a second for the backyard. It's in the attic.
Went get a cheap Asus ac router for like $60 bucks. I can get my whole backyard now.
Before then I had to drop WiFi and go lte on phone if streaming a podcast while cutting grass.

Such inconvenience. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

May just do that yeah. Can get a used AC66U for under 50 on eBay.
Posted on 8/14/19 at 1:24 pm to UltimateHog
Yeah, you just need another AP.
It was also a plus. Helped with the master bath WiFi. Didn't notice how bad it was in that room.

Don't want to post in movie and tv board.
But I'm becoming addicted to Star Trek. I go to sleep every night to lore videos, etc.
Guess I'm becoming my Grandpaw.

2 Vega 64 for $375... Yay or nay?

If I had a freesync monitor I would have swapped those out for my 2080. I may still swap one into my ITX build instead of my 1070 and dump the two extra cards

Going to be doing a little upgrade to my HTPC when I get home from work today.
Going from this:
PCPartPicker Part List: LINK
CPU: Intel Core i5-8500 3 GHz 6-Core OEM/Tray Processor
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG C7 40.5 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Samsung 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB Video Card
Case: Fractal Design Node 202 HTPC Case
Power Supply: Corsair SF 450 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply
To this:
CPU: Intel Core i5-8500T 2.1 GHz 6-Core OEM/Tray Processor
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG C7 40.5 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z370M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage: Intel 660p Series 1.02 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX VEGA 64 8 GB Video Card
Case: Fractal Design Node 202 HTPC Case
Power Supply: Silverstone 600 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply
I'll lose some frames going from the 8500 to the 8500t, but the lower power and heat will really be nice with that vega 64, which should give me a nice boost in frames

Where you got this?
Would love that for my NAS. I still need Intel CPUs just for certain functions to work correctly in FreeNAS.
Edt: What you pay or trade?
