For some reason he said it wasn't working. I was trying to help him out but he doesn't want my advice haha.

If you want to go same network I have no idea why a second router is being utilized. Tell him to just get a switch and call it a day. Way too much effort going into this for it to be on the same network.

He is trying to extend the network coverage in the house but I pulled myself out of this too.

Just found a PC at a thrift store.

Full sized Antec case, 4 sticks of RAM, 2 DVD drives, 4 internal HDDs, Nvidia CPU cooler, Intel mobo...

It all looks old and outdated, but I couldn't pass it up for $15 bucks

Gotcha. I'd use a WAP instead of a router in that case. Much easier to setup.

Either that or part it out for a really nice profit if it all works.

what do you guys think? supposed to be the same as the qnix 2710 pls panel. This is perfect pixel. A non perfect pixel is 288. I said from the outset that I wouldn't accept dead pixels on a 300 dollar monitor so I feel like maying the 30 extra is worth it. Downside is this one does not scale, but I am running a 7970 and have another 1080 monitor than I can use if running super demanding games like crysis 3. what were u saying the other day about the 2710s ilikelsutoo? one super detailed youtube review said the qnix and xstar 2710s had the best color out of the box of any of the 30+ monitors he reviewed. only downside was the gamma got a little high when he ramped it up to 96 and 120hz. Give it to me straight

I agree perfect pixel is a must. If there's a single dead pixel and I know it's there, it's unacceptable.

I don't have any experience with the 2710. Mine is a perfect pixel 2700, and I have zero complaints. It doesn't overclock, but I don't care. If the image quality is compromised in any way whatsoever due to an overclock, it is not worth it.

That is a good price with a nice looking bezel, not sure on the stand though. I would grab it.

On another note.. I just started playing ACIII for the first time and boy.. let me tell you, "It is nothing but cut scenes". I'm sure that was a secret.
