Np.
It is a nearly 15% increase. Seems like a noticable change. Why I asked again.
Seems like an easy mid. All these mice are nearly the same and sometimes come out the same factory.
Sounds like a fun thing to do.

It's basically getting the PCB from a g305, getting a 3d print of a g305 mount, sanding down the mounts in the other mouse, gluing and screwing in the PCB, add a recharable battery, and soldering a USB port to the front.

The USB port for charging will be the hardest part.
Unless that current mouse comes with a detachable usb cable?

Just bought an RTX 2080. RIP my wallet
thankfully I already have someone buying my 1080ti and jmurdah buying my 980ti to recoup most of my cost

U putting a block on it?

I want to, but likely not. My dream would be do two loops, one for the CPU and one for the GPU, have one loop be a yellow/gold color and the other loop be purple.
I would then need to get a new case bc the inwin 303c isn't a great case for a custom loop.
Would also have to upgrade my 1650 v2 and mobo to something nicer like an 8700k or 9900k

Waste of time.
Your D5 will be the loudest part of any loop. Why double it? Thermals could also take a hit on the GPU since you will have less surface area for cooling if the loop is divided.
One good loop is more quiet and performs better.

The point isn't about cooling performance, it's about the looks and putting with the theme
My end goal will probably be a 9900k and sli 2080s with a custom loop, but that's not until after all this wedding and honeymoon stuff

Oh ok. Was my next question.
Remember those dual loop T-virus res? Lol
I still love those cheesey things. Purple and Gold would work if the company which made workable non fake ones is still around.

Thought the new cards didn't have that much of an improvement running sli.

They were supposed to be significantly improving SLI with the new cards

So why do you want SLI? Looks like it only really is worth it for 4k games.
Could be reading this graphics wrong but
2080ti
1080p 15% difference
1440p 28%
4k 55%
Thought you mainly play shooters?
1080Ti SLI differences
1080p 19%
1440p 28%
4k 43%

I'm not doing it anytime soon, but the current slate of games still have shitty SLI support. Hopefully some of the future releases will be more optimized

If I'm paying a minimum of $1700 for the GPUs only, I better get 144fps on 4k mother frickah
Posted on 4/16/19 at 4:25 pm to Hu_Flung_Pu
I only paid $600 for my 2080
Posted on 4/16/19 at 4:50 pm to Hu_Flung_Pu
Depending on game idt the 2080Tis can hit close to that in SLi. Get used to paying 2K for video cards before blocks and still wanting more.
But it is a bug we chase.
It sucks.

I'm good until 1440p 240hz monitors get cheaper lol
Posted on 4/17/19 at 9:55 am to Hu_Flung_Pu
You say that now. But just wait. Games will push you to purchase 2K in GPUs every upgrade cycle.
Crazy to think this is normal now. When we first started spending that on GPUs it was rare. It does need to come back down.

I actually think the monitors need to come down. The GPU's are at a pretty good performance right now and can push the frames pretty high on 1440p even on last gen.
1080p monitors can still get in the 500+ range. That's nuts.
