Going to roll it out one game at a time instead of all at once. Reach confirmed.
And it's on STEAM!

This is awesome.
Will be my first dive I think into Halo. I have nearly 20yrs of catching up.
Man I hope high res texture packs are available from the community or officially at launch.
You never played the original Gearbox port?
I can still remember being super pissed when Microsoft bought Bungie in 2000 and said Halo would be exclusive for their upcoming console.

No. Idt I was gaming at the time.
I never played consoles really past 12-14yrs old (1998-99) and only picked up PC gaming again around 2005ish. (Within a few months of HL2 release. That game and City of Heroes are maybe the only reasons I got back in gaming. The OG Bioshock had something to do with it too.
Is that Ray traced?!

Maybe?
That's when Halo was more of an RTS with FPS elements on PC and Mac.

Halo 1 was ported by Gearbox in 2003. Had a lot of technical issues and wasn't optimized well but I had a ton of fun with it on my 6600 GT.
Never played Halo 2 because it came out in the fall of 06 and required Vista. frick that.

Fwiw they said on the live stream this is not just a simple port and it's redone from ground up with every feature PC gamers expect (FOV slider, optimization).

I hope they get sensitivities right, and not scale it from consoles like they did in Skyrim and borderlands.
I'm salivating over being able to play team SWAT on guardian and snipers on coag

The GTX 1660 looks to be THE budget king now. $219 is crazy for almost 1070 performance in most games.
My current budget build to give people would be
Ryzen 5 2600 at 154 on ebay
GTX 1660 at 219
GSkill Ripjaws V 16GB 3000Mhz 85 on newegg

1650 is up next. Should be $169 or $179.
I told you $350 isn't entry level.

It still is a budget card
And btw rtx 2060 is entry level for RTX and Ray tracing
I would have agreed with you on previous generations.
This is a Budget, Mid, High classification
New gen
Old gen

Did you make those yourself?
Posted on 3/14/19 at 2:44 pm to Korin
I'm confused over what you two are arguing about

He said in another thread that $350 is a budget price.

I sure did make those

Maybe now (still wouldn't say that's budget), but it for sure wasn't in previous generations

That's what my argument is.
Now it is
It wasn't before
That's why I had those graphs to show that it is a clear gap between the bottom, mid, and upper. RTX 2060 IS the budget/entry level to RTX so you have to include it as a budget option.
