Only problem I'm having with my DNS is that it keeps leaking on my server, basically voiding my VPN. Cox keeps sending me nasty emails about my torrenting habits

Get a $800 used one with no taxes... That's what I plan on doing.

Or I'm going to try and trade up my 1080 plus cash for one

Next thing that pops up in the 700-800 on my alerts in going in the cart. I can handle that after selling my current one

Any of you have any experience with a Blue Yeti mic? Picked one up with Far Cry 5 as a bundle through Best Buy.

Haven’t had a stand-alone mic before. The mic I use attached to my G933 headset is kind of lackluster so I figured why not.

RAT just got one. It's an okay mic, nothing great but nothing bad.

It'll for sure be better than the headset mic though

They are good. Just 2nd class gear. I roll with 1st class gear.

Ubisoft might be the best game developer ATM.

Their engine is super optimized. I can run AC: Origins and Far Cry 5 @ 2160/60FPS w/ ALL eye candy (Including AA). This is with only one of my TITAN X (Pascals) being utilized. No SLi profiles for these games.

Origins was a huge surprise and so far FC5 is a decent game. Good job Ubisoft for stepping back to allow for longer development time.

I love mine already, but mine was new in box for $60. Listened to my streams over the weekend just now and i like the sound after the vst plugins

I ended up selling Far Cry 5 to a friend for $50, so the mic would technically net to $70. Which isn’t bad.

I dont think you will be disappointed.

If you are streaming, turn it to the little pacman symbol on the back. Go to reaper .com I think, or google something like that and vst plugins, add those to OBS and choose standalone in the settings. Let it build its own audio gate and you are good. I set the washer and dryer and room fan all on to make sure all of that stuff is blocked out

That’s exactly what I have been looking for, info to optimize it.

Thanks a lot. Will look into it. I don’t have it directly in front of me, more of at my 10 o’clock range on my desk. The voice chat I’ve been using have been saying they hear me really well.

The only thing I’ve noticed, If there is something on in the background - tv, radio, etc. it picks it all up and is kind of annoying.

Do the noise gate stuff with the vst and you wont have that issue

the noise gate built into OBS is good, but once you start talking, it picks up that stuff in the background as well. the vst stuff keeps it all out, even when youre talking
