That’s kinda funny ngl.
I’m excited for this game to get this update, I still play sometimes. It was getting to the point where I was recognizing people in some of my games which is never a sign of a robust user base especially at the higher ranks.

Just saw this, but I added you. I played it for a few days and its promising. Back to OW1 Comp because I'm a Chad and cant stand quickplay.

You will only have to purchase the PvE if you want it, but the beta is for PvP which will basically just be Overwatch when it's ready. So free for PvP.

Yep. Got a couple Quick Play matches in during lunch around 11 EST and was actually on when the servers went offline. Bittersweet but I played both OW2 Betas and imo it’s the better version.

Tons of people also having issues with missing cosmetics that were supposed to transfer to OW2, not getting the coins from the Watchpoint Pack or unlocking things in the battle pass you should get immediately.

Switch your region to Asia and you'll get in faster and you'll still get matched to games in the NA region.

Here is what playing OW1 since May 23, 2016 left me (I did buy the Watchpoint Pack). Came into the game with everything from OW1. Yes, I idle the Overwatch League streams and have gotten every special skin for free.

Servers are complete trash.
There's a 10k+ queue to get you into an even longer queue, then you might get randomly DC'd and forced back into the queue.
I did play for about an hour last night before it kicked me off.
It's Overwatch. Nothing they've changed makes it feel any different than the 1st one.
Junker Queen is overpowered.

Yesterday legit 90% of my games in comp ended in 4v5 with the extreme server issues. I placed fricking silver 2. Silver 2 from diamond. In hindsight I probably should have waited a bit for the kinks before jumping into tanked, but quick play is so boring and stale.
I won my next 7 games and replace gold2. I mean wtf. At least it’s fun picking on silvers and golds, but I wanted to get placements over before the new healer completely breaks the game. Btw she’s super fricking op, even worse than Ecco, or brig when she first dropped.
I’ve had a shite ton of fun on Irish as tank, but only played a few
Tank games. Haven’t had a queue over 4 minutes, even on tank, can’t wait to have group find to find 6 stacks and actually play comp

I was Mid Plat and placed Bronze 3. I've seen Grand Masters place Gold/Plat.
Looks like a hard reset on ELO.

Yeah I was always Plat tank and support and high gold (2400s DPS), but I typically only did my placements. 184 comp hours in 6.5 years.
I think with the change to not seeing a hard SR number and the new structure I may play comp more. But I get tilted too easily in the game so I don’t know if I can handle it.
Fully expect to place in high bronze or low silver based on what I’m hearing though. In my minimal comp time these were my peaks:
Tank: 2860s
DPS: 2500s
Support: 2900s
