PC player here. The game is improving but does still have some glitches. I say buy it. The game is beautiful, and the gameplay is always fun. Second assault will be out soon I think which I'm really looking forward to. Let me know if you need a place to come play. My clan runs 4 servers and we kick arse.

I'm right on the edge of buying it. I'm down for some clan runs though. I rolled with mwlews, birdman, stout, and a bunch of other "meh-skilled" guys I can't remember on BF3 360. Wish I could remember his tag but I kept making one guy rage-quit.....Joining opposing teams and snatching his tags, shooting him out of helis with tanks, etc.

I think it's the maps. It's all openness with rocks. You either run into sniper queers all over the place or engineers that spam LAW's at you every chance they can.

There's no varying map design, except some maps have boats and water. Which are cool.

But in BF3, you had vehicle maps like Caspian Border. You had a good mix of vehicles and infantry, like Operation Firestorm. Then you had infantry heavy maps like Metro, Seine and Bazaar. In BF4, most maps but Locker are bowls with some mountains or high points for snipers.

There was some variance and it required you to adapt. In BF4, if you don't play as an engineer on Conquest you really can't do much.

China Rising has the BF3 style maps. Love all of them.

Second Assault is BF3 maps remastered so idk, I like the maps and the differences each have.

BF4 + Premium(which includes China Rising) is $110. Worth it?

China Rising's maps are all the same. Open land, mountains. Snipers. Engineers. That's it.

You make me sad, AJF.

I had high hopes for BF4 on the PS4. When I do get the PS4, I now don't think I will get battlefield for it.

Yeah, they are. The maps are not bad. Not in the least. But they're the same thing. Over and over. And that's just lazy.

Well, I said there's potential. I know DICE has a long track record of fixing it's problems.

I don't remember BF3 having this many crippling problems though. But, they fixed her up real nice.

The game has potential. And it's the only thing I care to play on PS4 for a while. So, I'll be patient with it and I'll still play it. Who knows what the DLC maps will be like.

If they can fix how bad it rubberbands, then the groundwork is laid for a good game. There's lots of fun to be had.

The no squad menu is baffling and really disappointing.

I've actually gone back to BF3 a little bit. Love it so damn much.

how tough is it to get a refund from Origin Online? I figure if this game does suck tit, I can get my money back.

Well the next DLC is the BF3 favorites remastered. And then 2 more over summer and one more in the fall.

Beyond that yeah no clue.

Not to mention that the BF3 maps we're getting were not even the top voted fan maps when they took the survey.

I want to say the favorites were Metro, Bazaar, Caspian and maybe Seine.

Say what?

The maps in the next DLC are Caspian Border, Operation Metro, Operation Firestorm, and Gulf of Oman.

Seems perfect to me.
