I’m sure Travis Hunter, Donovan Edwards, and Quinn Ewers got more too.
These guys can ask for more.
EA will either say yes or no and the vast majority will be told no.
If they opt out, that saves EA $600 and the time creating them in the game. Vast majority of the game buyers won’t give one iota of a frick if someone thinks they are bigger than the game and THE game and asks for more and gets told no is left out of the game.

They can demand whatever they want. This is the way NIL works and it’s no different than any other agreement in place

Yep. It's funny reading people in this thread act like other recruits will think they have the same advertising appeal as Arch Manning. They all saw the recruiting spectacle around him, they understand why he is a bigger name and gets more NIL money (from Texas and EA)

Still too many 90 rated players for my liking but I love that the highest rated overall players and speed is only 96. Much better than maddens ratings.

Tre Harris is a top 5 WR in the country to me, although he’s only 1 attribute lower than Horton at #5 so not a bad ranking

I doubt they’ll get much traffic in the traditional one on one online modes anyways. Most online traffic will be with dynasties and then that road to the playoff mode.
