Playstation generally does deals with devs to get exclusive digital shite for them quite often. Happened a lot when Destiny 2 became a big thing for PS.

also, if you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you have EA Play included so you can get the Deluxe edition for $89.99

I don't understand how there's a huge argument here. I'm excited and glad we'll finally have a college football game again. I'll buy it day one with no questions asked.
But I'm also well aware that Madden has been so bad in recent years I stopped buying it. The same company that makes Madden is making NCAA even if they are different teams. So I'm aware that it's possible a different team will come up with something much better than the Madden team using the same engine. But I wouldn't bet on it based on history even if I'm hopeful.
Two things matter to me in a sports game. Gameplay and simulation reality. By simulation reality, I mean do the stats at the end of the year make sense? Do teams draft/sign players in a realistic way (not Bengals drafting a QB in round 1 or college team signing 10 TEs). I'm a Franchise type of player so I'll take average gameplay with great simulations over the opposite. The broken franchise on Madden is the main reason I stopped playing it. If they can get the simulation of college football to be even just okay I'll call it a win because that seems like something that would be easier to tweak in future editions.
Good, bad or indifferent...if it doesn't sell this year it's gone forever. Even if I hear it's bad I'll roll the dice for a year or two in hopes it improves. One thing I do know for sure...LSU will win the championship next year in my house with another Heisman trophy for Nuss. And after that some small, barely known school will turn into a Heisman producing Championship juggernaut within a few years.

And? I don’t give a frick if I have the 1963 one off helmets or pants or whatever. As long as I have everyone’s current uniforms, I’m good. The rest is for others to worry about.

I understand that years of EA fricking up has given you battered woman's syndrome, but could you please deal with those issues through a therapist instead of spamming the board every time someone has the audacity to get slightly excited about the first college football game in 10 years?

If the full reveal is ready for tomorrow, that means it was ready for today… and all they did today was allow people to pay for the game before they showed you anything of relevance.
It’s actually worse than that. They showed all the gambling addicts (ultimate team fans) what they could get if they spent their money NOW.
This is literally classic manipulation at its finest.

EA knows exactly what they’re doing. Problem is we do too but don’t care because we want this game badly
