College Football 25 - Launch Weekend Notes + Updates

I have only two complaints:

1. The CFP rankings. In my second season I was literally the only undefeated team in the nation and have both the number one scoring offense and defense. I was the consensus #1 in both the media and coaches poll. What was my final ranking before the playoffs? 6th. I was still the number one seed because 4 of the 5 teams ahead of me were other SEC teams and whomever the 5th team was did not win their Conference. I don’t mind random arse 7-5/8-4 seasons from Notre Dame/Michigan/Texas/Florida State. Hey with millions of simulations you are going to get some outliers, I don’t mind that. Hell I liked that I wound up playing Iowa State for the ship because while I like realism, I’m also playing a game and I don’t need reality in my realism if that makes sense.

2. WHY THE frick CAN’T I GET 3-3-5 defensive plays to save in my custom defensive playbook? So annoying. I even tried starting with the 3-3-5 playbook and adding other formations and nope.

Other than that, I’m enjoying the game. I feel that the recruiting process may need some tweaking for next season - I don’t like having 4 preset time options for spending time with recruits, let me customize the time I spend shooting the shite and you can leave the soft and hard sell times as is. I don’t mind only being able to sign 35 players each offseason but I should be able to have more than 35 on my board and I should be able to offer more than 35 scholarships (pulling a scholarship offer should have a negative impact on a recruit).

has anyone gotten 20,000 points yet in the Route Tree - Outmanned mini-game, yet?

Random question but does playing defense in each individual season get way harder as the year goes on? In Year 2 and 3 I was getting stops in September but by conference play, I’m back to winning games 70-56

For dynasty recruiting, how do I stop recruits from signing with me that I didn't recruit. Since you can't cut or force out any incoming recruits, I'd prefer to not have to give a spot to someone I didn't want instead of a player already on my team.

In your dynasty options do you have recruiting set to manual or assisted?

That is insane. I don't get how they get guys to move that quick and also not get touched. If I tried to cut like that in the middle of the LOS, DL would obliterate me.
