You can more than likely make it work. There is a setting in there where you can put your receivers model number in. They just did not include it in the wizard.
My XBone controls my receiver just fine.

I think they just added, or will be adding, an adjustment so when you say Volume Up/Down you can set how many steps it turns the volume up or down each time you say it.
