I married for the first time at the temple of mara...some woman from Whiterun. However, at the end of the cermony she starts to walk away and now I have no idea where she's at. I have the house in whiterun and Lydia is my follower...I haven't had the option to marry her. Could having a follower affect why I can't find my wife? She's never home.

I bet I know who your talking about. she's a trader that ask you to get some mammoth tusks?

If you find her, and keep that ho in check, she will give you her trade earnings periodically.

That's my girl.

The first time I tried to marry her, Lydia's dead body showed up at the front door of the temple. That turned her and the guests off to the whole idea of marriage. I had to fus ro dah Lydia out of the doorway and no one noticed her the second time.

I think someone on her stuffed her body under a bed to fix it.

That was me

Stuffed Sven under the bed in the Temple bedroom after repeated failures with the marriage thing

It was funny because they would all look at his body and say different things but it got frustrating

Hold down X when you're hovering your aiming reticule over an item. Just tapping X adds it to your inventory, but holding down x for a few moments "grabs" it. You can then move stuff around and just hold X for a few moments again to drop the object.

Grabbing system for Skyrim is not quite as functional as it was for Oblivion, oddly enough. Can't really rotate objects around like you could before. Once a cup falls on its side, you're pretty much screwed. Still have not found a half-functional way to "tip" an object upright again on a table, like you could in Oblivion. Meh.

Well, you've got a lady follower and you can't even remember your wife's name. No wonder she's never home. Probably out banging Farkas or something.

I have done fricked up royally in Markarth. Killed a couple guys in that escape from the prison, and made it just a tad worse by killing about 25 guards and 2/3rds of the NPCs in a subsequent trip there. Now everyone and their mother there wants me dead.

I cant even go to jail and pay the redonkulous bounty off because it glitches when i submit to the guards (or non killable NPCs really) and restarts the dialogue.

Any fix to this or should i just avoid the place for now on?

Get the perk that lets you pay off the bounty? I never did that so it's my only suggestion.

Do the inn keepers keep giving you BS quests or do they ever run out?

They never run out. Also, the approach the guards outside of the city and try to submit to them. There are a few quests for the guilds that bring you to Markarth so you are probably going to want to get that sorted out if you want to finish them.

You have to wait a few days in-game, but they usually refill to around 750-1000 if you don't have any of the speech-craft perks.

Stores restock gold and items after 48 hours. By default, trying to sell goods is a frustrating affair in Skyrim until you either level speech to the point where you can invest in merchants or you do enough thieves guild quests to accumulate fences (which usually have around 4,000 gold).

On my thief character, I have so much more gold than I know what to do with. I have all of the houses and maxed out gear, so I pretty much just buy soul gems now.

I agree, there comes a point where you are absolutely saturated in gold. I never pick up gear anymore, I have no need for the items or the gold I would net from it. When I announced this to the Skyrim investors, the GDP decreased by around 5%.
