It is really aggravating to know that Skyrim has already been shipped to most stores and are just sitting in boxes urgh this wait is so aggravating. 
Do yall think there will be a release day or near release day patch? Since the game has gone gold, and there have been so many illegal and reviewer copies being played I'd imagine some glitches and bugs have been found. I would think that the team would be working on these fixes already. Plus working on some hopefully great DLC.

I'm sure reviewers have commented to the developers on glitches/bugs but unless it's major I don't see a release day patch.

Game will unlock for everyone 12:01 EST. 
Will suck if you are going to buy it at midnight anywhere except the east coast. Steam is letting everyone preload it.

Oblivion caused smoke to come out of my DinoPC.

I love my PC. Was only $650 and it handles games like a champ. Budget build done right.

Going to try to half arse it. Prayers needed.
Bought a hdmi to dvi cable and a rca connector for sound. With the hdmi to dvi I will definitely get video but not sure I will be able to get the sound working.
$9.00 so if it fails, no big loss.

Er....did you see they are suing the Minecraft guys cause they are making a game called Scrolls.
They seem to have a touch of the old Steve Jobsian overly litigious syndrome.
I guess the makers of the C-64 game Scrolls of Abbadon should sue Bethesda for using Scrolls.

Eh. I did hear:
#1 - The devs aren't the lawyers or owners, hard to blame those guys
#2 - They were forced to? They expect to lose, but they have to sue to pursue the integrity of their property, or something like that.
Could all be crap though too.

Mine was very similar to that, def closer to 500 than a grand, reused some old components that don't matter, no problem on any game thus far and room for more ram or better card
