I think a lot of people used to running free unchecked are gonna hate playing against you.

Can't wait to rock Symmetra. already had a 72% win rate with her only using her on first point defense.
Have they released anything on how much lower your initial comp ranking will be compared to last season after you placement matches?

So far on the PTR the feedback that she is definitely better, but the new shield ultimate and giant floating shield might be slightly underpowered. Still good to have quicker turrent recharge time and 6 available at start of rounds.

As a result, we’re testing a different way of determining your starting SR for Season 3 on the PTR. We’re leaning more towards trying to keep things fair rather than giving everyone a fresh start. We’re also going to initially tune your SR to be slightly lower to start. In turn, fewer players should start the season having their Skill Rating drastically drop despite having close to even wins and losses.
This change will mean that some players will not start in the same tier for Season 3 that they were placed in for Season 2, and that your SR gains from winning will be a little higher at the beginning of the season. After you play enough matches, however, your SR gains and losses will go back to normal.

Ive been solo Q in my placement matches and im 1-5-2 at the moment. 4 POTG's but its going to be interesting to see where i get placed with a losing record.

this is absolutely false. It has a lot of weight in what you finished last season at.
Example have a buddy th at finished last season as master. He went 5-4-1 and placed 3400.
Had a buddy that ended last season @ 2900. He went 0-10 and placed 2400.
The shite is broke this season for placement.

Was diamond (67) season 1, tilted a lot last season and finished plat. After a below average set of placement matches I placed high gold (2429). Currently on a nice streak and quickly got back to plat 2634, getting back to diamond this year boys
