Arma2 is worth getting even without DayZ. DayZ is just another awesome game added in. Both have their share of bugs/quirks, though.

I think they use skype to be able to record for their youtube channels, so it would be hard to make the switch

I have a computer reading this. So i just launch the two games and then download the six software after launching them and closing them?

Now it says I am missing a plug in for operation arrowhead. I have 2 errors:
1. "no entry bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTTable.shadow"
2. "Error compiling pixel shaderPSSpecularAlpha:0"

meh, I am having just as much frustration as I am fun. We keep spawning in to darkness every single time, and Stout and I played almost 2 hours without collecting a single melee weapon or firearm, running from zombies for much of the way as well.
I want to see how and when they address this, its ridiculous how difficult it is to party up and obtain anything now that you dont spawn with anything to defend yourself.
