Looks like the servers are down until launch. They went down shortly after I'd found a Republic Field Commander to farm. Dammit.

Bioware had better offer free transfers once they implement the new servers for launch. I'm not waiting in a fricking queue every time I want to play.

Whomever is on Bondar Crystal Empire, post your toon name so I can add to friends and possibly get a guild invite for you - no promises at this point, but I don't see an issue.

Dropped 3 blues and a green before I had to log. He's at a good spot for Archeology as well and on a 5 minute timer so I may be camping him for a little while.
Today was a good farming day. While questing I also got two purple drops from mobs.

He's on the planet you go to for The Plans quest from Zash. There's an area with platforms where you have to disable the stable guns for a quest.
I'll post coords when I log in tomorrow. He's a fairly tough kill (for a squishy) but as long as there are no adds nearby he goes down every time.

Do not knock him off the deck. He gets messed up and you can't loot him. You also don't get credit for the kill. Then each spawn after him also won't let you loot our get credit. I'm going to have to wait for a server reset.

I really wish some people who have played it already would give us a run down on the positives and negatives. I'm very much a pvp kind of person so I'm a tad worried the game will take a hit in that area because of its single player emphasis.

I'll update this post as I think of more positive / negatives throughout the day.
I've played quite a few MMOs over the years. WoW on and off since release, FF11, Rift, Warhammer Online, Guild Wars and FF14.
IMO, this game is really special. I'm not sure it's a WoW killer but it could very well be once I hit end game and learn some more.
Positives:
- Interactivity with Quests. You choose what to say to slightly affect the outcome. Choices can boost Light Side or Dark Side points.
- Companions (pets in WoW). Not only can you get various companions of different classes but you can make these companions go on missions for you (see crafting). Companions have affection for you. The higher the affection, the more you learn about them like in KOTOR and Mass Effect. I am pretty sure you can unlock side quests from your companions.
- Crafting. You choose 3 crew skills. There are 6 true crafting skills to create items, 4 gathering skills and 4 mission skills. With mission skills, you send your companion on a mission for a couple minutes (for the early missions) and they have a chance on getting items for you. It's a great way to get crafting materials with no work on your part.
Negatives:
- None right now. I'm having a blast.

This. I'm really strictly a PvP guy and the PvE is just the grind to become better at PvP.
Saying that, TOR really makes me enjoy the PvE side to this. Hopefully the PvP will deliver when end game hits.

Looks like you can only farm so often. He dropped a nice orange heavy armor piece then stopped dropping items.
