I may...y'all playing Republic? The guy at work that I rolled with hasn't logged on in like a week.
ETA: I hope you're playing Republic, because I'm not leveling another fricking toon to 20+ on the same storyline.

We're not really playing together at all yet, but we have low-level empire characters on Bondar Crystal. I kind of favored Republic myself, but went with the majority. Problem is that Bondar Crystal is about 75% Sith right now and this has several implications. 200 people standing at the fleet PvP alcoves makes for unbearable lag and every game is Huttball because there are never enough Republic players to do Alderaan or Voidstar.

At this point, the only thing that would make me start over is a group of people on Republic, I do believe. Tatooine is slowly sapping my will to live, so if I'm going to reroll now's the time.

I fell into a rut when I got to Tatooine with my Sage too.
People on this board either aren't playing TOR or they are playing it rather than posting about it. Only 3 of us have met in-game on empire side Bondar Crystal, two of us were stuck on Hutta doing the beginning story missions, and we didn't have enough people to create a guild charter yet anyway. I don't know who in Dourden's topical post is even active, already in a guild, etc. I haven't been on in a couple of days, so I'll take a lot of responsibility for the standstill. I'd roll another Republic character and play with you right now, but it'd probably just be the two of us. Seriously, Minecraft was a more popular game on this board.

I've been busy working but will finally have some free time. I'm in a guild but very well may have been booted bc I haven't been on since before Christmas. I'll be on later.

My wife's out of town this weekend, so I'll be hardcore cracking out from Friday night and on. I may roll a Republic for giggles and level up to 15 or so on Friday night to decide if I want to switch.

I can play Republic on Bondar Crystal. I have 29 and 25 characters on Fatman that are Empire so that can be my Empire server.
Sounds like we'll have no qeues if we play Republic.
The 29 is still on Tatooine. It would make me happier if a good chunk of the content outside of the main story line was more mission and exploration oriented. I really don't like linear paths to every objective. I want to explore the freaking planets and you really can't do that.

Gotta decide what to roll...may not go Jedi Warrior since I just finished leveling a Sith Warrior. I'm guessing the talents are fairly similar.

I forgot I have a Gunslinger Smuggler named Tsak on Bondar Crystal. You and VABuckeye can add me to your friends and whisper if you see me online.
Yeah, the Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior are mirror classes, so you get the exact same abilities with different names and icons. Marauder=Sentinel and Guardian=Juggernaut. Each of those are also identical as well as their talent trees.
ETA: Also, I'm working on getting a Vent server set up since voice chat is quite useful in PvP (Although nobody has to use it, of course) but I can't get port forwarding to work on my current router. I should have the issue resolved by tonight or tomorrow.

Jesus, Republic side is sparse. 40 people on Coruscant... Fine with me, though. I'm having a much smoother experience than on empire.

Either trooper advanced class is fine, but I personally like Vanguard in PvP. You have a good mixed of ranged and melee attacks and shield absorption. You can do comparable DPS to a commando, but it takes more skill and contextual awareness.

My Juggernaut DPS blows, so that will be a good change of pace.
