Did you rotate the ingress map the other way?
Did the paws and nearby screen indicate you were moving in the right direction?
The silhoutte will move up or down the nearby screen if you are getting closer

Any of you baws have an Arcanine? There's a cp1558 posted atop one of the gyms down here. I want one of those. IS it an evolution of a different Pokemon or just a single?
