To clear up the waiver issue, as stated before roster locks are just for the starting lineups. Adds/drops can still be made. Waivers apply for players dropped, but Riot can't implement that because there isn't a waiver claim order. Typically teams rotate in order of waiver claim (the team that had 1st claim would be 8th the following week. 2nd claim would be 1st, etc.). So even if you added that player to your team, it wouldn't go through until the roster lock the next week because if someone ahead of you in the claim order picked him up at any time within that week, they would get them instead of you. Anyway, since that doesn't exist in League Fantasy, waivers can't work properly.

One big difference between lol and Dota is your champion has to "turn" in dota. In lol you can be running one direction and fire an ability behind you instantly. In dota your char would have to "turn around". Sounds like something annoying imo.
I'd show you the ropes. There are AI bots to learn on.

dota is very auto attack based. In League there's more focus on skill rotations. It's simplified in terms of shopping and there aren't as many global skills. It's much more polished and the UI is definitely more user friendly. It's just a cleaner, more streamlined MOBA.

I started 5-1, and finished 6-4. Stupidest shite I've ever experienced. That 3 game losing streak was literally from my teams feeding a Yi every time... I could have stayed out of Bronze had that shite not happened I'm thinking
