Anybody else notice somebody missing from this thread?

quote:Such a clutch pick too. Completely changed the series. Being able to first pick it without having to worry about a counter lane matchup is so good.
It warms my heart to see river shen win.

I remember seeing on reddit that Spica was playing River shen leading up to the C9 series. I had a feeling it was coming.

I've played a good bit of Shen in the jungle and I've never understood why he's not played more there. His clear isn't all world but it's not terrible and at 6 you have an instant counter gank button. There are also very few champs that can duel him in the early levels. Combine all that with excellent ganking too and you would think he would have a high enough jungle play rate to at least register on the various data websites.

I wasn't paying too much attention at the time, but I remember hearing someone say that Shen jungle should normally be pretty easy to shut down in pro play. My guess is invading his camps with jg/mid or jg/support early to put him behind and delay his ult.
In practicality I don't see how it would work with current Shen. He's just strong period right now.

I just meant in soloq. I definitely see why it's not a popular pro pick, you saw in game 5 yesterday how Broxah got ahead by taking Shen's entire red side jungle when Shen ganked level 2. Until Shen gets either bami cinder or tiamat his clear is slower than a lot of junglers.

Yeah I have no fricking clue how Spica kept up with a Graves in farm on jungle Shen building support/tank. That blew my mind.

Broxah
he kept up with the Lillia too. Or he did while I was paying attention to the farm

I know when someone says “best in the world” it’s probably more of a meme...
But Bjerg’s Zilean may be the best in the world.

Anyone who says it isn't in the conversation is straight up trolling or a massive hater.

I don't think this is legal to show on twitch/youtube.

Hecarim is so busted on this patch

FLY definitely had the better draft that game. TSM had to jump out to a huge lead to avoid the scaling difference and just couldn't get ahead enough.

I really don't understand the Sett priority. Don't understand why they'd ban Shen either.

TSM are your 2020 Summer Split Champs!
That's 7.

That's 7.

It’s shown time and time again that when you lose multiple games in a row it’s easy to fold mentally and either complete sweeps or reverse sweep...
I have to hand it to both Fly and TSM for making it a series and TSM getting back to what they’re good at and executing in game 5. Really well deserved.
You could see it on the Fly cams the players felt it slipping from them when they kept rolling fights and picks.
TSM back on top!
