You make a lot of good points, but I can't agree with this one.
There has been a lot of unprofessional moves in the past year and it's looked really bad and as a TSM fan I will admit it's embarrassing - but on a pure team perspective, acquiring DL (who was your boy not too long ago) and letting Dardoch go was absolutely the right choice for the team.
If Spica turns out to be the next Blaber, GREAT. If not, you have an import you can use to get a decent player at that position. It sets TSM up for 2021.
With all that's going on in the world, this was their best move that they could have made for summer split.

Idk about this one. Kobbe is a better player (killing it in LEC) and they didn't use the import slot vacated. Not to mention DL is at the end of his career and no longer at the top of his game. And then you allow TL to take Tactical from you and you really wonder just how much influence Leena had and that's never a good thing.
Dardoch for Spica is whatever, more throwing shite at the wall hoping it sticks than anything. Fans begged for Dardoch and he lasted a split, but that's also been normal for TSM for a few years now especially their junglers.

I wasn't particularly impressed with Blaber when he was splitting time with Sven and now he's a monster. People get better when they are given their opportunity to play.
I'm not saying he's going to be a staple jungler for TSM for good, but if he plays well and TSM makes it to say the finals, he will earn the respect of the team and the league and have a shot to be on the roster in 2021. I just don't think you pick up DL and not use the slot (or attempt to use the slot) - they will consider imports for jungle unless they somehow win the split.

He's a good dude, but he looked absolutely miserable here. Didn't seem to mesh well with Biofrost as well. He really didn't play all that bad but I just didn't think he fit.. Not to mention his girlfriend who he was living with had to go back to EU as well. He was TSMs backup option anyway.

Interesting. I remember there were a lot of people that wanted Blaber playing at worlds over Sven which speaks volumes to his development. Blaber was brought along nicely behind Sven and was always their future, Sven had a big role in mentoring him while he was at MVP level including on the world's stage and that is just invaluable.. C9 is in a league of their own there. Jack has formed 2 good teams with EG.

I just remember watching him play in the regular season thinking they just needed to play Sven and not worry about the 6 man roster. I just wasn't particularly impressed, but I'm not a professional talent evaluator who sees scrims at C9. Looking back it was obvious they were planning on the future that has paid off for them now.

Oh there's no doubt about that. Their support staff is just above everyone and it's not even close. Zven said in an interview a while back that TSM gave you what you wanted, C9 only gives you what you need. Their players are groomed better. I'm surprised they don't have more titles than they do TBH. They finally have all the pieces I guess.

Blaber flashing the Naut hook to kick the Aphelios and Vulcan escaping and dodging the Malphite ulti on Rakan were hype as hell. I desperately want them to do well in international play just to prove that we're not completely shite as a region.

I think Flyquest is legit the 2nd best team in the league. They have top 3 players in every position except ADC.

Also, that C9 game, 2K gold down at 10 to 0-7 DIG, lost drag and first rift. Their early game continues to be maybe their only weakness.

TL isnt as impressive as you seem to think. LCS looks terrible today. C9 struggled vs an academy team.
