Holy moly the new Irelia looks crazy as hell. Looks lot like Katarina jumping around to different targets.

I'm at work so I can't leak the ability teaser, but it's pretty wild.

I haven't seen an Irelia in forever, but damn when she is ahead she becomes a nightmare .

could be a welcome addition to the stale toplane meta . lame arse Banner of Command users are quite effective but boring to watch

Irelia is a LOT of fun to play. I loved her in the jungle.

They are reworking her though. Just watched the teaser trailer.

She looks like a Yasuo/Katarina mix on steroids. Should be interesting.

I agree. I dont even think Yasou is that good but that fking windwall is easily the most annoying skill in the game to play around. Launching your ult at him to see it WW'd is tilting.

The League of Legends community is an absolute joy and treasure to share the rift with. That is all.

Agreed

What else is annoying is that he can do it "late" and still have it block what ever is coming.

I've had a few instances on Anivia where I would Q on the money, and it be just about to hit him, and the wind wall blocks it as it's forming. If that makes any sense. It seems as if as soon as he presses the button it blocks everything in that direction, when the wall actually moves out away from him as it spreads out.

If I ever have a yasuo into me mid, I insta lock Xerath and watch him rage when his wall doesn't block Xerath Qs.. and it seems like every Yas doesn't know. I get a "WTF my wall" seemingly every time I play that matchup. "Yas mains"

Correct, only thing that can be blocked is the E.

I also really like Annie into Yasuo a lot. A lot of lock down burst will just delete him. You would think since she's a short range mage that the matchup would be bad, but it really isn't.

Auto to remove the shield and just get on top of him and blow him up. Another of my favorite Yas counter picks.

I don't think it's blocked either. I think the "arc" of the actual projectile of the Xerath ult is suppose to be coming strait down on the target. It only arcs for the visual effect.

I think it would only block it if he was standing right on it.

I'll have to check that out. I like to see how pros play her to pick up on things.

I meant that if Xerath is ulting, then if yasuo stands on his wind wall, it may block it.

I actually looked it up, because I was curious. Yasuo can't block Xerath Q, W, and R. They say that the spells are more of an "appear and do damage in an area" type spell, and aren't projectiles. Similar to Chogath knock up and Lux ult.

Xerath R is the same thing, even though is a visual, it's really more of a damage in that area.

Better nerf Irelia.
