For the comp you could only run around with WASD I much prefer the arrow keys

People still use the arrow keys? Why would you want to intentionally take your hand away from the actual important part of the keyboard and seclude it down there all by itself?

Kind of presumptous given how fickle metacritics can be.

I liked the demo, even found a trainer to extend the 45 min timer so I wouldn't have to keep starting over.

My only knock on the game is the DRM.
EA says you will have to install and use the Origins client to register and play the game, I'm leaning towards not.

You can buy it in a store or digital but I can't seem to get a clear answer about bypassing Origin and going the Steam route, I already have that.

Initially you HAVE to activate on Origin and can't get through STEAM. I'm guessing STEAM will eventually get the game, but you will still have to activate with an Origin account. I don't like where this trend is going but I have both STEAM and Origin accounts.

Agreed.

How is Origins, any problems, weird happenings or such?

BTW, I got the demo from Steam and you can pre order from there, just seems odd that you have to register from Origins.

I've grown up using the arrow keys and can't stand WASD.

Steam has the demo and I believe you can preorder through steam.

It eventually dawned on me that this was probably the cause. I never played PC games when the arrow keys were the popular form of navigation. Plus I spent a few years playing WoW and if you used the arrow keys you were doing it wrong.

Definitly in.

I still have GOW3 in the plastic from Christmas. It's going back.

Would definitely be a mistake not to play that imo.

Also still have Arkham City in the package. By the time I'm finished with Reckoning and AC, I'll pick up Gears again at a discount.

It's just $60 in store credit to me right now.

They are going to give you a funky look when you trade that in, not very often a two month old game gets traded back in unopened

You know exactly why it's still in the wrapper, don't you?
