Basically to have everything you want for tight settlements, you need Bars and Traders in every settlement for the cash. Then once you have a nice pile of cash you need to hit as often as possible Carla, the Good Neighbor traders and Diamond City Traders.
End game, Aluminum becomes a pain so Arturo in Diamond city satisfies your aluminum needs if you hit him on the way home from missions.

He sunk into the ground next to the big tree in Covenant for me. You can still do the quest. Or I was able too.
Covenant is a mess. In the whole game, it is the buggiest area. Or I should say for me it was. I didn't really have any long term problems except for Dan disappearing.

I finally decided to stop doing side quests/ settlement building and just started the road to freedom/find virgil at level 50

Once you get the weave perk from the railroad things become easier. Still some tough foes in the south.

Ehh, I got into it heavy for like 6 weeks, then one day, I just did not want to play anymore.
Haven't finished the story. Probably going trade it in this weekend anyway.

I think one of my biggest issues is how much you can carry. I constantly have with weapons/armor/and aid about 250. That does leave much room to pick stuff up.

I'm level 26 and haven't done anything with Valentine. I saved him then went off and started doing side missions.

There's a perk for that to carry more.

Well, i found the caravan and the item that should kick it off, but all im able to do is just kick the can around. Bugged.

quote:You have to do more than find the caravan. There are items around the settlement and other ways to find out about a certain cave. You don't have to talk to Dan to progress the quest once he tells you to find the caravan. Just check a quest guide if you need help but I don't think Dan is the problem.

I'm the same way. A week or so ago I was like, I need a break. I havent even felt like playing it again. Started playing Madden again and sucked into that blackhole lol

It can be overwhelming. I need to be more selective with my quests because I do bore myself doing some of them.

I encountered Trader Rylee for the first time and what a clusterfrick of a bug that is.

This was my first encounter, strangely. I found her at that Longneck Cannery and she's bugged as hell.

Stimpacks and a few radaway is all the aid you really need. Pick a few guns.
Heck. I think I am at 71 after unloading junk in the workshop.

I think my armor weighs more than 71. I will have to look tho. I carry like 7 guns but I only use maybe 3.

I'm sporting full combo / with some form of undersuit, glasses, helmet, and laser pistol, shotgun, 10mm and 25 refreshing beverages / 5 stimpacks.
71 weight.
