Ok, so I must be missing something here because I also have maxed science, gun nut, rifleman (semi) and bloody mess, and the highest I've been able to mod my gauss is to 441.
Am I missing commando? I didn't think you could make a gauss full auto.
ETA: I'm using a non-legendary gauss rifle.

I randomly found Quincy and cleared it easily. Fun though. What is the deal with it? I get all that about the past minutement but I'd there anything I can do with it?

I want to send a two pronged attack.
One, I want to blow the BOS out of the sky.
Two, take out The Institute.
With All of my settlers and minutemen hitting both groups.
I don't mind Danse, but don't like the leader and I don't like where I think the Institute is headed.
Haven't done much of either quest line but already I don't trust either.

The only group I really like are the Minutemen. They seem to really want to just help and aren't trying to destroy another faction.

how do you get a settlement population above the teens? I am level 57 and the most people i have at one settlement is 14. i've set up a radio tower and made sure the settlement has all the resources it needs, but it just hovers at around 14.

I don't have a clue what makes it go up.
Plenty of excess food and water? Extra beds?
You may need to assign a few folks to beds just like assigning a chore.
If you hear them bitching about sleeping in shifts you need to do assign a few folks. Even if you have 30 beds, they might be too lazy to find them.
Add a bar and a few places to sit near the bar. Make sure people have a job.
Oh.. what is your charisma? The limit is 10 plus charisma. Bonuses count so if you have some extra charisma items you can get higher than 20.
I have 27 at a couple of spots. Most are around 20.

my charisma is maxed out at 10. not sure if I have any bonuses. I'm just going to start building shite and hope for the best

So, I accidentally dismissed Strong and I read that when you do that he goes back to Trinity Tower lobby but that dude is no where to be found. Anyone else have an issue with him disappearing? I've been checking every time I play for the last week or so and he still hasn't shown up.

Lol, I was looking through the map and my marker went over a settlement and I saw 5%, "Huh?" 21 people?!? I apparently had forgotten to turn off the radio beacon and there were settlers everywhere when I fast traveled there. Absolutely no where to put beds since there's a non-destroy able house taking up 30% of the land there, and no water or food. Spent 30 minutes there tidying it up and now I forget what I was doing...
I think just having the radio beacon on will attract settlers.
