Unlimited guns mean that you don't have to reload. You still use ammo, however.

Need to get back to the game today. Upgraded my instigating .45 rifle to a .308. Motherfricker is insane with sneak shots.
108 base damage + double damage for full health x3.7 damage with sneak. Need the last sandman and ninja perk.

Just got the Overseer's Guardian over the weekend and boy it feels overpowered. I am wrecking shite and have over 1000 .45 ammo

I finally broke out the Alien Blaster for my mission to fight the Institute Courser.
The damage is good, but the number of times you can use it with one bar of AP is completely ridiculous. I'm already maxed out on luck, with alot of the high level critical shot and AP perks, and I was just wrecking 3-4 guys per VATS turn. I swear I could get 12-13 shots off with a full AP bar.
Stashed it for a later mission. Still have about 300 shots left.

That's gonna be the next gun I get when I finally get there to buy it. Wonder if you can upgrade that to a .308 as well?

Think I've read where you can mod the blaster to use fusion cells, but it decreases the damage. Might be worth looking into once you use all of your ammo for it.

The AB ammo for the ALien Blaster is finite. Once you run out you can convert it to use fusion cells and it only takes a 1 point hit at damage.

Does it use one dollar or one stack of pre-war money? If only 1 dollar, that would mean another group of ammo that I over 1000 for.
