This play through is going to take a long time. Hinterlands is done and so is Crestwood, I am working on the western approach right now and doing the companion missions as they come up.

I think the best daggers I found ran like mid 200s in dmg. The ones I crafted ran 400+ (I think 411 or 422 but I am to lazy to go all the way over to the next room and look)

As far as character side quests, I felt all were done excellently and fit with their origin. Some very tough choices.

Bianca can become extremely potent.

I swear his mission closed without me completing.

I don't know if its closing was secondary to completing Varrics "destroy red lyrium" mission or finishing a certain part of the main mission.

But it doesn't seem to be available to me anymore.

I never did Lilliana's mission. I've done Blackwall, Cole (1st part), Solas, Vivienne, Casandra, and josephine.

And speaking as a female, elf mage...Solas is a total dick! He has been banned from coming on missions, and all choices are geared towards his disapproval. Men are pigs, that is all.

That was my favorite quest in the game so far.

His closes based on an inquisitors path mission, yes.

Not gonna spoil it but once you beat one boss on inquisitors path... cullens side quest becomes pointless so it closes

It was all a dream and you are actual a druffalo?

I'd support that ending.

Still haven't made my decision on Blackwall. I've lopped off a few heads and shown some mercy in other cases. Think I probably lopped off one I shouldn't have.

Cold vulnerability and fire resistance. Just make sure you keep running all the way to the back of gulch/canyon. I fricked up my first time around trying to get him to land at the front close to the camp.

I actually think the hinterlands was toughest for me because I got supremely toasted each time he took flight. I really had no problems with the rest because I was over leveled and that regeneration potion maxed out, works wonders. Same with healing mist.

Am I the only one who doesn't give a crap about resistance and just has a straight up fight without micromanaging gear?

Depends on the difficulty level you play on imo

Vinsomer on Hard with 200k hp, a guard he always uses, and lightning aoe is a royal bitch to handle

< lvl 16...I cared.

Now, I'm with you, i don't need the potions. My team doesn't even die anymore. Vivienne stays back and does nothing but basic attacks and cast barrier.

Me, Bull, and Cassandra are each attacking a different limb. Battles have gotten much easier at higher levels and after making adjustments to their battle approach in character record.

I'm only at lvl 15 so most of the dragons are still leveled over me. I don't know if I would call it micro managing of gear. Equip a few things before hand, maybe craft something, cast a defensive or healing potion every now and then.

I would imagine normal difficulty, resistances aren't as important.

As I said, I did get roasted a good bit in the hinterlands but I kept hiding in bad areas and he would swoop by a few times and nail me before landing again.

Plus I didn't have healing mist or regenration when I did the Hinterlands.

Depends entirely on difficulty. On Insane the Highland Ravager will destroy you unless you are prepared, even at 20+

Rift done raped.

Didn't stand a chance after the 2nd group of badasses appeared.
