I think this sums up the game pretty well:
"Hey guys, Diablo is all about farming gear.
Except if you use skills that we think are too good. Then we'll nerf them.
Except if you farm areas that are too productive. Then we'll nerf them.
Except if you stack stats that we think are too good. Then we'll nerf them.
Except if you want to farm bosses. We'll nerf them too.
Oh, and except if you make too many games in a short amount of time. We'll take care of that too.
But have fun with the RMA-- I mean, have fun farming gear."

I finally gave up vault last night. I got tired of dying 10m away from the mob because of the delay on the actual jump.
I bought some move speed boots instead and may switch to the move speed rune on smokescreen.
eta: last night I was using
devouring arrow
nether tentacles
caltrops/xslow
smokescreen/fog
prep/heal
spike trap/x3
I really wish you could lay down a spike trap on the run like you can with caltrops.

Does anyone use bola? Gets rid of mobs real nice... Don't really know what to put on my right click though.

Took down Inferno Belial last night.

I used bola+extended range for a while.
Finally hit 60, started spending money on gear..won a bid for a 715dps crossbow for 5k gold
Switched to hungering arror/nether tentacle
I must've killed hell azmodan in 30 seconds, got like 5 achievements
Made it to raknaroth, fricker was 1 shotting me on his teleport attack.
Went back to the ah...got my hp up to 36k (from 17 or so..)
From what I've read... Probably no sense in trying to gear defensively in inferno.. I'll get 1 shot to matter what it seems, may just go 100% glass cannon dps

word of warning: reflect damage sucks
may want to keep that in mind if you go all out for dps... keep some LoH weapons or be really good at smoke screens

I have a 60 monk. It's fun once you can survive a bit, but Act 2 inferno is a big "frick you" to me at this point.
Up to 51 on a Wizard now as well, and it's fun to blow shite up with ease. Feels so much easier than Monk was at this point.

I got my Barb to 60, got to Act 2 Inferno and then leveled my DH to 60.
