Anyone else rnadomly getting kicked from the servers?
Is there something I need to do to solve this or just waiting on Bungie?

I've read that there is a pretty good number of people that is happening to. I haven't had a problem being kicked or losing connection.

Hell yeah they are. Especially the ones on the strike list. GalvosAg and I ran one earlier last night (Level 22 viper strike) before you joined with some random level 20+ guy and got our asses handed to us. We tried it twice and were like frick this, let's just keep going until we die to try and get some engrams out these guys. shite was no joke. The bosses seemed like their health bars weren't moving one iota even with 200+ damage weapons.

I've been kicked a couple of times in 3 days. The servers aren't great yet but I'm still overall impressed for launch of a game this big. Usually it would be impossible to play.

I was kicked twice yesterday, not too bad. I more just wanted to see if it was a problem on end that I needed to be worried about.

I would say their end.

It appears most of my server issues are on my end due to high data usage generated by the game which has caused my cable internet to time out or disconnect, which is what happened last night.

Not sure but I wouldn't be surprised. I have Cox Cable Internet with the highest speed package they offer. We used to have issues with our Motorola surfboard 6141 modem timing out but that was because we had the modem connected to a co-axle splitter which created noise in the connection and lower signal to the modem due to the other co-axle being connected to our cable box. So I moved it to another cable outlet that was not being used and removed the splitter and direct connected the modem and that worked. Plus I bought a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 wireless modem (one bad arse mother loving wireless modem IMO) to increase the WiFi signal which also helped.
But I'm not sure as to the reason for the recent timing out issues. I set up QoS on my wireless network for gaming which has also helped but again, not sure as to the recent issues. May just be hiccups in the signals

you dropping packets? Start a ping and see if you ever drop more than say two or three. Also, call thier tech support and tell them to check your modem levels. If they tell you the levels are good and you are still dropping packets, it could be noise on the node or congestion.

What did you say you did for thumb sticks on ps4?

How would I go about checking this? I know some networking but not much and this isn't something I've done before.
Should I also check to see what Channel's the surrounding WiFi networks are using and move to another channel not being used or not as much as those surrounding to help increase my WiFi signal? I realize the WiFi and cable modem issues are two separate and independent issues but it may help with signal strength

could be the wifi signal. I had my source at the bedroom and my tv in the living room about 30 ft away. I never had an issue before so didnt think it would be a problem until I started playing yesterday. Kept getting booted out in the middle of missions. I moved my source to the living room right next to my ps4 even though my signal strength was indicating that it was great and havent had an issue since......for some reason this game isnt very forgiving

Swapped them out with some Xbox One sticks from Amazon. Bought Blue ones from E-Mods and they are awesome. Bought some purple ones as well for my orange controller.
I'll post the YouTube video when I get back from class. It's a really easy mod. The controller feels so much better for FPS's now, just a tad taller and better control.
Also for Destiny I put the sensitivity to 7, stock just wasn't doing it for me.

This one? I'm thinking about doing this when I get home from work today. I do not like the PS4 controllers analog sticks at all. They make it hard to function and press down on L3 to sprint in Destiny.
Going to try this using one of my two Xbox One Controllers. I only use one but keep the other charged in case the battery in the one being used goes dead.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest), how hard was it to do the swap?
