Same here. I have my exotic helmet and queen's guard chest armor maxed out. My legendary arm and leg armor are both ready for their final three upgrades, but I'm hesitant to use the shards. I'm stuck about halfway through level 28 for now.

Do you ever use motes of light for much of anything other than upgrading a weapon or exotic engrams from Xur?

I got the exotic chest engram last week as a gamble and it was for the wrong class. Other than that they don't have much use. Are they needed for upgrading exotics? I haven't had to use them for that yet.

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I've read before that some exotics eventually take one mote to upgrade. I could be wrong, though. We need some of the experts on here to weight in.

It would make sense. Motes are pretty useless overall. You can buy useless stuff from the speaker with them stuff like that make me think they had to finish the game and get it out. The sequel should be great though.

To upgrade legendary or exotic armor pieces you need Ascendent shards. For weapons, ascendent energy.

Yeah, I'm ecstatic for this series over the next few years. The game is addicting. I realized this week how much I'm hooked on it, because I just recently purchased a used 360 to go back and play all of the Halo games. I switched to PS after Halo 3, so I never did get to play Reach or Halo 4 and I've been dying to. Since I got it in, I've only played three missions of Halo over the past two weeks because I can't stop playing Destiny.

I had to make myself play mordor even though it was a good game. I keep coming back to destiny. I want to platinum it but damn that will take a lot.

Speaker items, exotic engrams and reforming iron banner weapons in the future are the only uses I'm aware of.

Mordor will probably be one of the next few I buy. My buddy who is my go to guy from gaming told me it's supposed to be really good, so I'll eventually try it. I may not even get Call of Duty until it drops in price a little. I also have Madden, NBA, and Drive Club that I've barely freaking played.

Halo was one of the main reasons I switched to Xbox in the first place.

Mordor is basically the first Assassin's Creed. Insanely repetitive, but will probably be a decent platform to build a series from.

I'm good to play right now. I'm on the boat and there's a small chance we would have to take off and I'd have to go, though. Like I said before, if the group was to need a 6th and that risk doesn't matter, I'd love to play. I haven't done it yet, though, so y'all would have to coach me.
