It's not that bad, but he hits really hard and doesn't give you much of a breather.

Gehrman is such an awesome fight that it's okay that Moon Presence is kinda easy

Presence wasn't that easy. Was easy compared to gerhman.
As for ds2. If you didn't have curse resist it was a different story also it was still harder than 90% of that games bosses.
Now demon's souls, that was a throw away boss.

The only thing I can take away from this game... is that it was really stupid of me, on this game of all games, to change things up and go shieldless and use a katana for the first time. I'm so stupid

Usurp the flame is my favorite ending. I mean, I still haven't seen the super hard ending yet... but I don't know if it will beat that one.

Any time there are knights there is a difficulty boost in my opinion.
Also yes, the difficulty in this game ramps up a good bit once you get to dancer.
Pantiff was probably still the most annoying boss in the whole game to me. I could not beat him with the play style I set out to use the whole game, and it was infuriating.
