My guess is that they had to pay for the name in the game. Probably why they continued using m4 but changed everything else

Funny, I actually replaced it about 2-3 months after I got it. When I was able to get my 3080, it passed the 3060ti to my kid. He's playing on that one. But the one I got from you, I built a PC for another kid (not one of mine) and he's using that card and its still kicking arse for him. So, thanks again.

Played probably 5-6 hours over the weekend with the boys. Thoughts:
-TTK is too high, especially on the first AR you get at lvl 1
-ARs kinda suck in general, the Striker SMG felt better at every range
-The Cutthroat gametype is a nice spinoff of gunfight, can be a little campy depending on the map, but so far so good
-Without the deadie boots you sound like a fricking rhinoceros running around, it’s ridiculous
-The hand glider grenade thing needs a nerf of some sort, there’s no reason to use nades or semtex right now
-Movement is awesome. MW2 was slow motion compared to this
-Shotgun corner camping is back in a BIG way. Ran into a ton of them
That’s about it, overall I enjoyed it. TTK is my biggest issue, it feels too high the majority of the time.

We played the entire weekend. We should have partied. I'll have to get you added through MWIII as I'm playing on PS5.
I like the MDW (I think, 3rd AR). But I have always been a LMG but you are super slow with it until you unlock the modification at max level. I was able to mod it and it moves quite a bit quicker (not like an SMG).
I didn't seem to have an issue with the TTK. It just felt ok for me. (ETA: I kinda suck, so take this with a grain of salt)
Agree about the drone bomb thing.
Not a fan of Cut Throat. Did play a ton of SnD and Highrise 24/7 yesterday.

reviews i’ve seen of the “beta”(s) make it sound like same ol’ same ol’ COD + let’s tickle your buttholes with nostalgia.
positives:
- TTK seems better
- Maps are pretty
- they brought over kill & score streaks
same negatives from the past 3-4 CODs:
grossly overpowered SBMM.
prioritization of skill instead of connection.
poorly balanced weapons.
perks aren’t balanced. most aren’t useful.
annoying endless tab’ing UI.
and most of all, the spawn system makes every mode and every match feel like Free for All.
all very very fixable. if you gave a flying frick about the opinion of your gaming community.

I think the spawns made the maps feel way worse.

I was just coming to see if there was discussion on the graphics. I was watching some footage and it looked dreadful.

They weren't as good as the MW2 beta graphics, that's for sure. I had to go through my graphics and quality settings on my PC, then put on nvidia filters to get it looking even close to MW2. I'm hoping that's going to be fixed at release because the gameplay overall felt way better.
