I’m getting pretty significantly less (110 avg) with a 3080 and 5600x on same resolution. Help?

Not bad. Though I have no idea what is using that much ram. That doesn’t look right. Task manager numbers don’t agree at all with that.

PSA to those using AMD graphics cards: The telemetry for GPU temp is going to read the Junction Temp rather than the actual GPU temp. On average the actual GPU temp for me is about 75C while playing although the junction temp is about 90C. Both are below maximum temps spec'ed for my card which for junction is 105-110C. After some reading into it, it looks to be a bug. For now I'd suggest turning off the warnings in the interface settings, maybe use MSI Afterburner which can be used to show accurate telemetry on your gpu. If you've never used it, it works with any GPU regardless if MSI is the board maker or not.

i understand why the game didn’t come with Hardcore mode. Core is pretty much Hardcore at this point.
No Barracks. No leaderboards. Can’t see timers on XP tokens. No way to disable cross play. And matchmaking for more than 2 people in a party tonight wasn’t happening.
I know it’s Launch Day and every COD is rough launch day, but woof.

Played for a few hours today and eventually gave up on using anything but a kitted-out P90 or a cut-down M4. First shot wins 90% of the time, no matter what guns either person is using. I really wanted the SCAR and AK to work but I just kept losing 1v1s.
I will say that the SCAR absolutely hammers people if you get the drop on them. Very fun in the right setting

I've had some issues with getting into the game at first. Wasn't able to join a friend at one point in a match. However, I hadn't experienced any crashes. Can't say that for the last two CoD releases.

I want to like the maps but I don’t. Why would the do MW2 and not throw in any of the beloved maps from the original?

Yeah, the hotel is still kinda shite. Taraq can suck my low hanging tea bag.
I'm digging the border crossing one with the cars. It's different in a stupid way but with some creativity and trolling you can have a blast. Sooooo many places to hide a mine.

I am too but I take in great pleasure as an old school FPS player showing these kids up. Especially these lame arse streamers bitching about how they can't pubstomp for likes now.
Edit: My main focus is to get an RPG. It's the most effective tool to introduce people to the Lt. Dan Retirement Plan.

I think we have different definitions of too old for this game
