So in my limited experience with the Souls games, and from watching gameplay of BB, it seems BB controls a lot faster, like it moved slightly over to a DMC speed if that makes sense. Fair assessment, or pretty much the same style?

BB is all about relentless offense and zero defense. Your only defense is literally your offense. It's pretty much the most satisfying game I've ever played.

I heard that the gun sort of takes the place of the shield, in the sense that it doesn't really do any damage, just disorients and knocks back enemies?

You can get to the point where it does a good amount of damage if you put some resources into upgrading it but yes it's a clever parry system. If you time it just right, it will drop the enemy to his knees and you can do an attack that one shots most.

I wouldn't call it DMC speed but yes it speeds it up. Your defense is offense and dodging.

That was the only thing that came to mind when thinking of fast paced action games. More for comparison purposes.

I would say that's not true, not just for the GIF he showed, but also because if you put enough XP into Bloodtinge, it turns them into serious weapons. I played with a guy who had his at 30, and his maxed out gun killed Amygdala in about 7 hits

There are more than one... There is one at the bottom of the long staircase right where you spawn at the lamp, but there are also others scattered throughout the map. They only span enemies in their general area, so if you kill them, the enemies will stop repawning in that particular area

Seriously, why is there an uproar to keep this off the PC from some? Won't affect the PS4 experience. It will probably be a shoddy port anyways.

A lot of PS4ers value having exclusives because it props up their argument in the whole console vs. console vs. PC fanboy war.
