No, your PSN action in BF3 will link to Battlelog. The Origin account was basically you signing up for Battlelog with EA.
It's convoluted I know. But once you get into BF3, you will see what it's trying to do on the first menu screen. It's like one step and you're done.

Unlocked the Staff Shell last night. Wonder if it's any good. Didn't like the Canister Shell. IRNV also sucks imo. Reactive armor the best way to go?
