Been pretty damn busy, so just playing more pick up and play games:

Super Smash Bros Ultimate
Fall Guys (almost Lv 40)
Bleach Brave Souls

I can't commit to a long one-player game but hopefully by the end of the year I can make some time for something. Will prob buy Jedi Fallen Order around Black Friday or something of that nature.

I loved the game, but I too got bored with it.

Wasn't the story or mechanics, but something about the pace in gameplay. I felt the drive to keep pushing forward once I found out almost everything at the top of that tower, unfulfilling.

The game is amazing, but it lost me, and not certain why ..

How far are you in to it?

And don't listen to Carson. Side stuff is still pretty good.

I believe he is just saying to stay on the main story to not lose interest. That is understandable.

Maybe the side missions killed it for me, since I have 50hrs in the game and not certain if I'm 50% through the main story.

Carson and I have had a long running debate about the quality of the side content of this game. He feels it's boring and underwhelming, and I contend it's no better or worse than side content with any other game. I personally found it engaging and layered. There was one near the beginning where you have to find someone's brother who I think is a bit out of his mind, and the voice acting for him was atrocious. But other than that, I thought it all delivered.

I thought the main story had a great payoff. The big mystery for me the entire game was revealed and I wasn't disappointed.

For me, it took a while to get past the hump with this game. Started and stopped about 3 or 4 times before it really hooked me.

After I stopped playing and looked at spoilers, only 1 thing I didn't already figure out. It was something which gave scale to the timeline, which wasn't a big deal for me but a wow, now things make a little more sense with why soo much information was lost.

The more I go back, the more I see how this was Guerrilla's first attempt at a game like this. Was one raider camp where some dialogue that lasted about 30 seconds or so kept repeating over and over until I got to the end of it. Drove me nuts.

I'm not very far, probably ~15-20% of the map explored. I loved the combat at first so I spent my first 2-3 hours running around killing shite but I think I burned myself out.

It seems like the type of game I will get back into at some point because all I hear is how much people love it, but I just can't seem to keep playing it right now

Now I know nothing of the dlc story and the Sylens character.

I've always wanted to go back to play this storyline out.

DLC is ok, not great. Sylens is definitely intriguing and I'm definitely curious about his story in Forbidden West.

I am on my 2nd play through of The Witcher 3, doing things much differently than my first time. This game is actually amazing with all the hidden content in it, I bought the expansions as well. Im playing this casually and just enjoying the ride. Aside from this Overwatch and Warzone as well as some Halo sprinkled in there.
