Question:
Did they mention anything about the current series of games that are only on 3DS and moving them all to this one console?
I'd like it if this thing was a "catch all" for consuming Nintendo's products

Backwards compatible 3DS is probably somewhat tough. however....I think the point is to have their handheld development and console development all in one.
That's huge. I love the handheld RPG's, but I haven't had a Nintendo handheld since the DS.

They haven't really mentioned anything, just dropped a trailer. There is a lot of information that still needs to come out.

Will these be able to be a stand alone tablet like an iPad or Nvidia shield? It would be a major deal breaker if it's not
Agree and Disagree. It needs touch, which wasn't shown, and we didn't see any store or app capabilities yet. I'd think that's a foregone conclusion, but you never know.

They need to make this the same price with a bundle as the Xbox One S or cheaper as a stand alone console.
Rumors put it at $299 right now. $399 in a bundle. And if all other rumors were correct....

The tablet display really needs to be 1080p or higher. The games don't need to run at those resolutions, but the display needs to be at least 1080p. All of this takes in to account that the tablet itself can functions like an iPad or Android tablet.
Agree.

Bluetooth controller compatibility would make this insanely awesome. I doubt thats there but as long as they have a more normalized controller for just the tablet, that's fine.
Would be nice, but Nintendo is so picky about that stuff.

How are tablets doing? Are they still selling well? People still use them much? I find no use for them at all.

Not sure I phrased it right. Not really looking to go backwards

This is what I am interested in. Going forward, will I finally be able to get a pokemon game and see what all the fuss is about? Will I get to play the RPGs that will normally be only on 3DS

Completely underwhelmed.
I will likely buy it at some point because I pretty much buy every console, but this thing is a big fat MEH to me from what I have seen so far.

its a grand slam move having both of those divisions developing for one system.

a lot of people use tablets every day.
After having a tablet for the last couple of years I couldn't imagine not having one.
Tablets are still pretty popular.

This SEEMS to be the goal, which puts me all in on this.
Not only that, imagine playing Mobile/Indie Games, Nintendo Handheld, and Console Games all on One Console???
That's incredible. A little Pokemon (not my bag, I'd rather play a handheld RPG). A Little Terraria. A little Breath of the Wild.
That's their sell. All at home OR on the go. One account managing a batch of games you can play from anywhere?
If they upgrade myNintendo for things like Saved Games...take some notes from Xbox Live...that's just huge.
