It may be somewhat childish, but I have been intoxicated by Luigi's Mansion 3. The game is very engaging and enjoyable to play. Although the animation style is cartoonish, the visuals are often vivid and arresting. The color palette is particularly entrancing. I have been playing co-op with my five year old daughter, and she loves it.

Any recent 3rd party games you would recommend? I like most of their exclusive stuff and have played most of the recs in this thread including the Xenoblade games

Biggest 3rd party recs I have heard lately were the Fenix game by Ubisoft, which is basically a Breath Of The Wild clone for $30, and Hades, which is a roguelike game.

Daemon X Machina is a Mecha Suit Game kinda like Gundam that I just randomly picked up and have enjoyed
