I'd trade in my 3DS towards a Wii U in a heartbeat. Just not getting enough play out of it.

Don't trade in Nintendo systems, they will eventually make you want it again. I just saw that the Majoras mask bundle doesn't come with the game Nevermind getting that...

I heard on the bombcast that the Australian skews didn't come with one.
Love/hate with Nintnedo. That's a constant.

I wish they would just make software sometimes

EDIT:
quote:Also, this boggles my mind. How much is Nintendo really saving by not including that?? Whatever it is I can't imagine it's worth angry parents having to go back to the store to buy a cable the system should have included in the first place. Nintendo can assume that some of their customers have had a previous 3DS, but not all.

Wii games coming to Wii U eshop
But no Gamecube?
Seriously though, Metroid Prime Trilogy, PunchOut!, and Mario Galaxy 2 are all kick arse and it will be super nice to play them directly from the WiiU menu instead of having to switch to Wii mode.
Too bad I own all three of these already on Wii though

My thoughts copy/pasted:
Fire Emblem's trailer looks quite good. While I would love to see them try some Battalion Wars or Valkryia type gameplay, it's probably my favorite series that Nintendo makes.
Packaging the two PAD game is a very smart move. Considering the mobile game is free, you need to give good value b/c of all the microtransactions.
Announcing Pokemon shuffle right after just seems stupid.
Don't care about Mario Party or Splatoon. Happy to see Nintendo catching up on the downloadable classics. Hopefully that library can grow into triple digits in the following months.
Xenoblade looks pretty (sans pop-in), and I do hope there's some type of fast travel. That was a lot of running around for one trailer.

No Nintendo does their release dates later than most.

Do I have any reason to play Mario Galaxy 1 before 2?

No, but you should.
2 of the greatest 3D platformers of all time.
Most prefer 2, I actually liked 1 better.
Incredible games.

I only ask because 2 is on the eshop starting today for $9.99
Posted on 1/14/15 at 1:16 pm to Mr Gardoki
oh wow, thats a pretty damn good deal.
that game has become a pain in the arse to find for $20 new.

quote:Both are awesome if you like 3D platformers. I sort of view them as one massive game, though if I had to pick only one to play, 2 edges out 1.

Wow, I didn't notice until now that Metroid Prime Trilogy was also coming to the eShop. I bet those people trying to sell it for $100 - $200+ aren't happy about that.

Same with Suikoden II on PSN. The value of my copy dropped in half.
