Xbox is aiming for a higher profit margin, that isnt the same as more profit. They are aiming for 30% margin.
A 30% margin on 30% of the market is still less profit than a smaller margin on 70% of the market. They still haven't hit that 30% mark either.
That's a good argument, and you're correct they don't have a 30% profit margin, but it was shown during the trial that Microsoft has higher overall profit. And that was even before ABK was a part of the company.
Those are the actual internal numbers that were brought up in testimony during the ABK case. We won't find better numbers than numbers submitted and testified to under oath.

The problem with your meme is that everything I say here is factual. I'm not giving my opinions.

Yeah those numbers seem pretty accurate.

what year is it? 2012?

I dont see a problem with setting that as the minimum settings for verification. Steam has a huge library of games and not all of them need to run at 4K or 60 FPS.
There is still a market for games like Dwarf Fortress, Inscryption, and Norco.

I'm going to buy it too, but I doubt anyone will be surprised by that.
I love Game Pass.
They're clearly trying to appeal to game devs here. "Build your game for our console, and it'll also play on any Windows PC. No need to build it twice."

Good, I'm excited for the future with this new system and just a new vison.
I get the hate it gets but I have enjoyed so much gaming history with Xbox over last 25 years. I'm locked in.

The few developers that I have had the pleasure of speaking with have said that it is easier to develop for Xbox than Playstation but that was during the time of x360 and PS3.
Everything is an Xbox was incredibly ambitious but streaming Xbox through my Smart TV was rarely pleasurable.

Yeah the PS3 was a dogshit console to work with, absolutely horrible. It's why the GOAT 360 did so well
Sony learned their lesson with that though. It's very widely reported that the PS4 and 5 had far better tools for devs and it's why the standard PS5 outperformed the Series X on most titles despite having inferior hardware
I'm anxious to see how this shakes out vs the Steam Machine. I may be a Helix owner depending on what kind of performance Valve eeks out of their box

Same here, I've been a PlayStation guy since my son moved his account off of Sony and onto Xbox thus taking over my account a few years back but if they can get to the level of a 5080-powered PC for around $1200 then I am sold.

Serious question…
I just bought a new PC. When I was setting it up it asked if I wanted to buy gamepass…
Said you know what…I’ll see what it’s about.
Please tell me that the gamepass on PC is a different catalog than the console?
Meaning…please tell me that the console has a better selection at least because this is terrible.

It's a great concept, but streaming games just isn't viable yet. I only play turn-based games via streaming. Slay the Spire is awesome to play on my phone via the Cloud, but also I don't die in that game if there's a lag issue. Games where you need the game to work or you can die due to lag just don't operate correctly with streaming.

There's pretty much no chance this happens. This language is the new "all games will be at 4K" marketing schlock
I just want it to be portable and convenient for travel. If it nails that better than Steam Machine, I'm in. Cost isn't really a factor for me if it's a good product
