Need a 1080p monitor recommendation for my PC and ps4

what's the best 1080p monitor I can get for under $500.
needs to have an HDMI input
Also, not sure what screen size would be best. Bigger would be better, but not sure if that compromises the 1080p display quality
any advice would be appreciated

How far away are you sitting? That is important.

I use a 27in running 1080p for my PC.
If you go much bigger than that at 1080P I think it won't look as nice from that close.

I would suggest making sure its 144hz, and 1ms respons time. I picked up a 24' aSUS with those specs for like 250.
Would def spend the extra and get the 27' now.
