Mich 35, FSU 9

quote:

8 turnovers did me in

Good game man - that was one of the weirdest games I've ever been a part of. Both offenses were sad - I had 228 total yds and FSU had 222. I had 5 turnovers. There were 13 turnovers in this game.

Mich had 2 defensive td's, and FSU had a safety. My offense was completely obliterated in this game except that one long TD right before halftime.

I thought I had it wrapped up at the half, and then turned it over twice to open the 2nd half. The ints came after you had to force it.

One thing that's a little funny - I was looking over my recruit visits before the game and there were 3 or 4 DB's/ATH's that all were gonna get bonus points for INT's. I was aggraveted because I rarely get interceptions and was praying for 2.

Till we meet in the B1G Title Game

This season has been FU mode to the fullest.

Out of all the teams I play, I would never consider that would have to use my restart against Indiana.

The first game they had 5 ints in the first half. I would throw a pass and it would be intercepted every time. LB's, CB, Safties anybody with arms would make an outstanding INT. Amazingly, I had the ball down 5 with about 1 minute left on their 25 and throw a pass to the FB and he fumbles to give them the ball, So had to restart.

The restart game started out different, but they were still in a lower grade FU mode. I was frustrated as they would make plays that I know this team isn't normally making or they would have a decent ranking. Had trouble getting separation and ended up having to run more than I usually do. Looks like the key to this team is running the ball, so I guess my high powered offense from Oregon St days, is over. I have to use my horse at RB now.

Ended up winning 63-39, but I'm not proud of how I played and I haven't had the fun that I've had in the past. I don't have my type of players yet.

This is the first game that I noticed badly. I had 1 turnover going into the game against Miami...I had 5 this game. 3 of which were in the end zone. I had a LINEBACKER dive and make a 1 handed INT in the end zone on a slant. I replayed the instant replay about 50 times. A couple of the others were simply my part. Then to have a game sealing TD, my QB fumbled at the 2 and it rolled into the end zone. Considering 5 TO's, my defense was absolutely brilliant. I squeaked out a win, but it should have been dominant.

I got the Texas job right before we rebooted the dynasty. Never got to play a season with them. It would have been pretty nice I'm sure.

I honestly think it's gonna be hard for me to leave UNC. I'm gonna be AWFUL next year, like I don't know how I will even be competitive...but I'm bringing in a pretty loaded recruiting class hopefully. Don't want to just leave the kids high and dry

Butt, that's why it took me so long to leave Oregon St. I kept getting that prize player like a #1 RB in class Fields and #1 QB Perez and others before those guys. Oregon St is a solid team now and will be for the next few years. I was stockpiling talent, but it takes 3 to 4 years to get them on the top talent level. I really didn't want to leave this past season, but there comes a time when you have to decide to move up or continue to "try" to compete with the big dogs. It happens sometimes, but more times than not the big dogs pull it out.

It`s hard to leave when you see talent coming in and you see the changes the team makes and the contenders they are becoming. There is something that just makes it more special to win with all of your recruited players.

I really just can't think of any place I'd even want to go. I would take the UT job probably, but it won't be open. Other than that, most people already have the quality schools

There are quite a few good teams out there that can do some damage with the right leadership. There are more than these listed, but it`s up to the individual. Thinking back I should`ve left Oregon St. at least two times, but I kept waiting for a particular job.

Wisconsin
Notre Dame
Florida
Texas
Miami
USC
Clemson
Stanford
Bama
West Virginia
Oklahoma
TCU

Well, most of those I have a personal hatred for haha.

Notre Dame would be fun, though. I could never, in good conscience, do one with Alabama.

I like where I am at with Nebraska. I can see myself staying here for a while. The only thing that would lure me away would be a job along the lines of USC/Texas for a more solid in-state recruiting base.
