Nice game Hog! Diggs almost cost me this game. On his second TD - the wildcat (?) one - I realized right before the snap it was him in the backfield and started mashing buttons in a panic because I knew I was toast.

This was an odd game - top was 19 to 5. I consider my offense a big play offense, but I had to grind out everything. I don't know if you changed your D from last time but it was much tougher.

Good luck in your bowl - and there's still time to drop that guy's scholarship offer!

That's crazy. I feel like a bunch were pretty short yardage.

GG

I didn't change anything

Honestly it felt like you just had a go to play every third down and that I couldn't do anything. I knew what plays you were running but I usually do. They don't change much.

I incorporated quite a few plays in this game I don't normally run, including a few draws that I've been practicing on randoms online.

I'm also trying to diversify my passing game as well, and ran some stuff I normally don't. Some worked, some didn't. You're right about 3rd down though - I didn't experiment much there for the most part.

If you don't mind my asking - was that a wildcat formation you used with Diggs? That had the other two guys in the backfield? That was sweet.

Lol I honestly have no idea what it was

I saw the formation in my playbook and just decided to see if it would let me change player to Diggs and it did so I tried it. Play was supposed to go middle but it was clogged.

I do remember it being called something other than wildcat

3rd down conversions in this game are so clutch. I think the only reason I'm good at this game is because I have 15-20 great 3rd down plays

not trying to be a stickler but according to our rules....

Subsitutions: You can't sub a:

-HB/WR/ATH for a QB unless running wildcat

just saying.....

I know I got a ton of crap when I had my corner playing situational QB.

Also maybe HTF you have the second post on the first page maybe you can update the teams and what not....since Drum is not around anymore.

To me, if it's a default option when you change your personnel groupings in a formation, I have no problem with it.

If you have to adjust your depth chart to sub in that ath/wr/rb that's not legit.

This.

I see no problem with it. Even though it wasn't technically called a "wildcat" formation doesn't mean it wasn't some form of one.

I probably know exactly what formation it is also. Qb position in shotgun with 2 players on either side of him and both 3 yards closer to the line of scrimmage? That formation is just all designed qb/ath run plays up the middle. Not a big deal imo
